Inspection Procedure

  1. INSPECT FUSE 
    1. Check the AM2 fuse in the engine room R/B.

      Standard: 

      Below 1 Ω 

    2. Check the GAUGE fuse in the driver side J/B.

      Standard: 

      Below 1 Ω 

    3. Check the DOME fuse in the engine room R/B.

      Standard: 

      Below 1 Ω 

    NG: REPLACE FUSE 

    OK: GO TO NEXT STEP 

  2. INSPECT COMBINATION METER ASSY 
    1. Disconnect the C10 connector. See Fig 1.
    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION TABLE .

      Standard: 

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION TABLE

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      C10-16 - Body ground Always 10 to 14 V
      C10-15 - Body ground Ignition switch ON 10 to 14 V
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION TABLE  .

      Standard: 

      TESTER CONNECTION SPECIFIED CONDITION TABLE

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      C10-13 - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

    NG: REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

    OK: REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSY (SEE  COMBINATION METER ASSY  )
