    1. Remove the 10 bolts and wheel hub ornament sub-assy.
  2. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL
    1. Remove the 5 nuts and front wheel.
  3. REMOVE REAR WHEEL
    1. Remove the 5 nuts and rear wheel.
  4. REMOVE TIRE PRESSURE MONITOR VALVE SUB-ASSY
    1. Remove the valve core, cap, and release air from the tire.
    2. After ensuring that air is sufficiently released, remove the nut, washer and outer grommet that is used to fix the inflation pressure sensor and drop the sensor inside the tire.

NOTE: Be careful not to damage the inflation pressure sensor due to interference between the sensor and tire bead.
    4. Remove the bead on the upper side as in usual operation.
    5. Take out the sensor from the tire and remove the bead on the lower side as in usual operation.
    6. Remove the inner grommet from the tire pressure monitor valve sub-assy.

    HINT:

Check that no crack or damage is identified on the grommet. If so, replace the grommet together with the washer and nut.

  5. INSTALL TIRE PRESSURE MONITOR VALVE SUB-ASSY

    HINT:

When replacing the inflation pressure sensor, replace it with the one which has the same identification paint color.

      NOTE:
      • Visually check that no deformation or damage is identified on the tire pressure monitor valve sub-assy.
      • Check whether the rim is clean.
      • Check whether the grommet, washer and nut are clean.
      • Insert the tire pressure monitor valve sub-assy so that "PACIFIC" mark can be viewed.
      • Care should be taken as insertion in the reverse direction may cause damage and prevent signal transmission during high-speed running.
    3. Install the outer grommet and washer. Secure them with the nut.

      Torque: 3.0 N.m (31 kgf.cm, 27 in.lbf)

    4. Set the wheel disc to the mounting machine and install the lower tire bead. At the time, position the main body of the sensor to the shaded area shown in Fig 4 .

NOTE: If the sensor is positioned outside this area, it generates interference with the tire bead, causing possible damage to the sensor.
    5. Install the upper bead.
NOTE: Make sure that the tire bead and tool dose not interfere with the main body of the sensor and that the sensor is not clamped by the bead.
  6. INSTALL FRONT WHEEL
    1. Install the front wheel with the 5 nuts.

    Torque: 103 N.m (1,050 kgf.cm, 76 ft.lbf)

  7. INSTALL REAR WHEEL
    1. Install the rear wheel with the 5 nuts.

    Torque: 103 N.m (1,050 kgf.cm, 76 ft.lbf)

  8. INSTALL WHEEL HUB ORNAMENT SUB-ASSY
    1. Install the ornament sub-assy with the 10 bolts.

      Torque: 20 N.m (204 kgf.cm, 15 ft.lbf)

  9. INSPECT TIRE (See  INSPECTION  )
  10. REGISTRATION OF TRANSMITTER ID (See  PRE-CHECK  )
