WARNING: Accidental air bag deployment is possible. Personal injury may result. Read and follow all WARNINGS and AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS  before working on air bag system or related components.
CAUTION: Air bag sensor assembly may be damaged if ignition switch is in ACC or ON position when negative battery cable is disconnected or connected. Ensure ignition switch is in LOCK position before disconnecting or connecting negative battery cable.
Connector terminals may be damaged. Avoid probing terminal ends. Instead, backprobe terminals (probe terminal where wire enters harness connector).
NOTE: In the following tests, the term squib and module may be used interchangeably.
