Diagnostic Procedure

  1. Check brake warning buzzer. To check buzzer, disconnect combination meter harness connector. Apply positive battery voltage to combination meter terminal A18 (Sky Blue wire) and battery ground to terminal A16 (Sky Blue wire). See appropriate INSTRUMENT PANELS article. If buzzer activates, go to next step. If buzzer does not activate, replace brake warning buzzer.
  2. Check circuit in harness and connector between brake warning buzzer and ABS ECU. Repair as necessary. If circuit is okay, replace ABS ECU.
