Diagnostic Procedure

  1. Check brake/VSC warning buzzer. To check buzzer, disconnect buzzer harness connector. Buzzer is located behind left side of dash. See Figure. Apply battery voltage to buzzer terminals. If buzzer sounds, go to next step. If buzzer does not sound, replace brake/VSC warning buzzer.
  2. Check circuit between brake/VSC warning buzzer and ABS/BA/TRAC/VSC ECU. Repair as necessary. If circuit is okay, replace ABS/BA/TRAC/VSC ECU.
