Stoplight Switch Check

Disconnect stoplight switch. Check continuity between switch terminals. Continuity should exist between terminals No. 1 and 2 with brake pedal depressed, and continuity should exist between terminals No. 3 and 4 with brake pedal released. See Figure. If continuity is correct, go to WIRING HARNESS CHECK. If continuity is incorrect, replace switch.
