Switch Continuity

  1. With wiper/washer switch off, continuity should exist between terminals No. 1 and 10 of connector "A". See Figure. With wiper switch in INT (intermittent) position and washer switch off, continuity should exist between terminals No. 1 and 10 of connector "A", and terminals No. 5 and 6 of connector "B".
  2. With wiper switch in LO position, continuity should exist between terminal No. 1 of connector "A" and terminal No. 14 of connector "B". See Figure. With wiper switch in HI position, continuity should exist between terminals No. 6 and 12, and terminals No. 7 and 14 of connector "B".
  3. Press button at end of wiper/washer stalk, and check continuity between terminals No. 6 and 13 of connector "B". Continuity should exist. With wiper/washer switch in SEMI position, continuity should exist between terminals No. 6 and 11 of connector "B". If continuity is not as specified, replace wiper/washer switch.
