Section 1 (Defogger - Rear Window): Description

Rear window defogger systems use a heating wire grid bonded to the inside of window. Mirror defogger systems uses a heating wire grid behind each exterior mirror. Defogger switch is incorporated into A/C control panel assembly and controls defoggers through a relay. Power to A/C control panel assembly is through ignition switch. Timer in A/C control panel assembly will keep power to grid for approximately 15 minutes or until ignition is turned off.
