Fuel Pressure Regulator Operation

The pressure regulator controls the amount of fuel that is returned to the fuel tank through return pipe, thus adjusting fuel pressure to the injectors. The ECU controls the vacuum signal to the fuel pressure regulator by using a Vacuum Switching Valve (VSV).
