The Self-Leveling and Anti-Locking Brakes (SLABS) ECU supplies vehicle road speed signal to the cruise control ECU and to the ECM. The vehicle road speed signal is a square wave form, between 0-12 volts at a frequency of 8000 pulses per mile. Cruise control will only operate between 25-125 MPH. Cruise control will not operate if there is no vehicle road speed signal.
