Removal & Installation

Disconnect negative battery cable. Locate ABS Electronic Control Unit (ECU) under glove box. See Figure . Remove alarm system ECU mounting bolt, and lower ABS ECU to passenger footwell. Remove ABS ECU mounting bolts. Remove ABS ECU from bracket with ABS ECU Black 35-pin connector connected. Release connector retaining clip and swing connector out from ABS ECU. Release hooked end of connector from retaining post. To install, reverse removal procedure. Ensure ABS ECU 35-pin connector retaining clip is properly located.
