Repair Procedures: Removal

Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
Remove the rear wheel guard.
(Refer to " Replacement ")
Separate the fuel filler hose (B) from the fuel filler pipe (A).

Separate the ventilation hose (A).

Remove the filler-neck assembly by removing the mounting nut (B) after separating the canister close valve connector (A).
Tightening torque:

7.9 - 11.7 N.m (0.8 - 1.2 kgf.m, 5.8 - 8.6 lb.ft)
