Repair Procedures: Replacement

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the crash pad lower panel.

    (Refer to Body - "CRASH PAD LOWER PANEL ")

  3. Disconnect the PTC heater connector (A).

  4. Remove the driver side shower duct (A) after loosening the screw.

  5. Remove the smart key unit.

    (Refer to Body Electrical System - "SMART KEY UNIT ")

  6. Disconnect the connector (A) and then remove the mode control actuator (B) after loosening the screws.

  7. Install in the reverse order of removal.
