Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the intake manifold.

    (Refer to Intake And Exhaust System - "INTAKE MANIFOLD ")

  2. Remove the delivery pipe and injector.

    (Refer to Engine Control/Fuel System - "DELIVERY PIPE ")

  3. Remove the oil pressure switch (A) after disconnecting the connector.

    Tightening torque: 

    14.7 ~ 21.6 N.m (1.5 ~ 2.2 kgf.m, 10.8 ~ 15.9 lb-ft)

    NOTE:
    • When removing and installing the oil pressure switch, use a deep socket as shown in illustration below.
      • 3/8" drive deep socket (24mm) with the wall thin and the length less than 75mm

    [Installation order for tools] 
    1. Insert a 24mm deep socket (A) to the oil pressure switch.

    2. After connecting other tools as arranged in the above image, insert the tools (A) to socket.

  4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
    NOTE: When installing, apply sealant on the thread part.

    Seal lock:  THREE BOND 2403

    Thickness:  0.2 ~ 0.4 mm (0.008 ~ 0.016 in.)
