DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Signal monitoring
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Open or short to ground in circuit
  3. Defected O2 sensor
  4. Defected ECM
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage is higher than 10.7V
  • Lambda is than 1.1 for 9 sec.
Threshold Value
  • Downstream O2 sensor voltage is lower than 0.65V
Diagnostic Time
  • 9 sec.
MIL ON Condition
  • 2 driving cycles
