Switch, D-Pillar: Installation
- Position the rear power liftgate switch (2) to the switch bezel (1), making sure to align the spline on the top of the switch housing with the keyway at the top of the switch bezel.
- Using hand pressure, press the rear power liftgate switch firmly and evenly into the switch bezel until the retainers (3) on each side of the switch housing snap into place and the switch is fully engaged.
- Position the rear power liftgate switch (2) and switch bezel (3) close enough to the bezel opening in the left quarter trim panel (1) and connect the rear power liftgate switch wiring harness connector.
- Align the switch bezel to the quarter trim panel bezel opening. Using hand pressure, press the bezel firmly and evenly into the opening, until the integral latches are fully engaged.
- Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector to the negative battery cable.
