Separator, Engine Oil: Removal

  1. Remove the oil vapor pressure sensor. Refer to SENSOR, OIL VAPOR PRESSURE, REMOVAL .

  2. Disconnect the CCV hose (4) from the oil vapor separator cover.

  3. Remove the bolts (1) and the oil vapor separator cover (2).
  4. Remove and discard the gasket (3) and seal.

  5. Using the (special tool #VM.10344, Tool, Oil Separator Remover/Installer) (2), remove the engine oil separator (1) from the left intake camshaft.
