Position the battery onto the battery tray.

Install the negative battery cable end to the negative battery terminal. Tighten the captive clamp nut (1) to 6 N.m (53 in. lbs.).
Install the battery thermal cover.

Connect the battery positive cable (1). Tighten to 7 N.m (62 in. lbs.).
