Wiper Switch

For wiper switch test procedures, turn ignition switch to "ON" position. Using voltmeter, conduct tests to wiper switch side of connector attaching wiper switch to wiper motor (non-intermittent), or intermittent module (intermittent).

1. Connect voltmeter to Gray wire, turn wiper switch to "LO" and mist intermittent position. If voltmeter does not read 12 volts replace switch.
2. Connect voltmeter to Purple wire. Turn wiper switch to "HI" position. If voltmeter does not read 12 volts replace switch.
3. Connect voltmeter to Yellow wire. Turn wiper switch to "OFF" position with voltmeter connected. If voltmeter does not read 12 volts until wipers park and then read zero, replace switch.
