Transmission Fluid Pan Gasket: Installation

  1. Installation is the reverse of the removal procedure.
    • Tighten the fluid pan retaining bolts to the specified torque figure.

    See Figure.

  2. Using a new gasket, install the fluid pan and tighten the fixings to the specified torque figure. See Figure.
  3. Refill transmission. Refer to TRANSMISSION FLUID FILLING .
  4. Check for leaks and remove spilt fluid.
