Neutral Safety Switch

Remove control linkage from transmission manual shaft. Set manual shaft in "N" position. Loosen neutral safety switch screws. See Fig 1 . Insert .16" (4 mm) pin through adjustment holes in both neutral safety switch and manual shaft. Tighten screws. Remove pin. Install control linkage. Verify vehicle starts in only "P" and "N" positions.
