Component Inspection

  1. Disconnect the battery negative (-) terminal.
  2. Remove the HO2S connector.

    (Refer to "REMOVAL " procedure)

  3. Measure resistance between HO2S heater terminals.

    Bankl/Sensorl:  Terminal 4 - Terminal 5

    Bankl/Sensor2:  Terminal 3 - Terminal 4

  4. Check the resistance is within the specification.

    Specification 

    Bank 1/Sensor 1:  2.8 - 4.5Ω

    Bank 1/Sensor 2:  3.3 - 4.1Ω
