Self-Diagnostic System: Notes

The self-diagnostic system monitors input signals from each sensor. If an abnormal input signal occurs, that item is stored by ECM as a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC). DTCs can be read with a scan tool. ECM memory will be erased if battery or ECM is disconnected.
