DTC indicator G: Climate Control Unit Internal Error

NOTE:
Check the battery condition (see
BATTERY TEST
) and the charging system:
- K24Z1 engine (see CHARGING SYSTEM INDICATOR CIRCUIT TROUBLESHOOTING - K24Z1 ENGINE )
- K24Z6 engine (see CHARGING SYSTEM INDICATOR CIRCUIT TROUBLESHOOTING - K24Z6 ENGINE )
- Clear the DTC with the HDS.
- Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), and then back to ON (II).
- Do the self-diagnostic function with the climate control unit (see HOW TO USE THE SELF-DIAGNOSTIC FUNCTION WITHOUT THE HDS ).
- Check for DTCs.
Is DTC G indicated?
YES -The climate control unit is faulty, replace the climate control unit (see CLIMATE CONTROL UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ).
NO -Intermittent failure, the climate control unit is OK at this time.
