Check Engine Light

With ignition off, insert jumper wire between terminals of 2-pin service check connector, located behind right side of dash. See Figure . Turn ignition on and count flashes on CHECK ENGINE light.

See TROUBLE CODE IDENTIFICATION CHART  and proceed to appropriate code for testing. All voltage tests should be performed with a Digital Volt-Ohmmeter (DVOM) with a minimum 10-megohm input impedance, unless specifically stated differently in testing procedures.
