DTC 14 - Driver-Side Deployment Loop Open: Description

The steering column circuit consists of driver-side inflator module, SRS coil assembly, center sensor assembly, and associated wires. The center sensor assembly supplies a small amount of current through steering column circuit, CKT D+ output terminal No. 7. By monitoring voltage at CKT D- input terminal No. 6, center sensor assembly calculates combined resistance of driver-side inflator module, SRS coil assembly, and respective wiring.
