Repair Procedures: Removal
- Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect the negative (-) battery cable.
- Loosen the wheel bolts slightly.
Raise the vehicle, and make sure it is securely supported.
- Remove the front wheel and tire (A) from front hub.
Tightening torque:
137.3 - 156.9 N.m (14.0 - 16.0 kgf.m, 101.3 - 115.7 lb-ft)
NOTE: - Remove the side cover (A).
Tightening torque:
8.8 - 13.7 N.m (0.9 - 1.4 kgf.m, 6.5 - 10.1 lb-ft)

- Remove the engine room under cover.
(Refer to Engine Mechanical System - "ENGINE ROOM UNDER COVER ")
- Disconnect the R-MDPS connector (A) and then removing the wiring clip (B).
- Remove the split pin and then loosen the nut (A).
Tightening torque:
98.1 - 117.7 N.m (10.0 - 12.0 kgf.m, 72.3 - 86.8 lb-ft)
- Remove the tie rod end ball joint (A) by using the SST (09568-2J100).
- Remove the stabilizer bar link (A) after loosening the nut.
Tightening torque:
98.1 - 117.7 N.m (10.0 - 12.0 kgf.m, 72.3 - 86.8 lb-ft)
NOTE:- When loosening the nut (A), fix the outer hexagon of stabilizer bar link.
- Be careful not to damage the stabilizer link boots.
- Loosen the bolt and nut (A) and then remove the stabilizer bar from the front cross member.
Tightening torque:
49.0 - 63.7 N.m (5.0 - 6.5 kgf.m, 36.2 - 47.0 lb-ft)
