Fault Code Analysis

  1. Connect the self-diagnostic connector of the vehicle to the GDS.
  2. Engine ON.
  3. Press "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)  " button after selecting system and select the DTC status button in order to check DTC Information.
  4. Check "DTC status".

    "Current DTC" 

    • Go to next procedure.

    "Past DTC" 

    • After repair, when the fault codes were not erased or May be due to temporary malfunctioning by poor contact of the power side.

      Check if the connector is loose, poor contact, bending, corrosion, contamination, alteration, or damaged.

    • Repair or replace if necessary, after that go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

    "DTC analysis" 

  1. Connect the self-diagnostic connector of the vehicle to the GDS.
  2. Engine ON.
  3. Select the "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)"  and read DTC (IG OFF/ON after erasing trouble code)
  4. Is the DTC displayed?

    YES 

    • Repair or replace if necessary, after that go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

      Check if the connector is loose, poor contact, bending, corrosion, contamination, alteration, or damaged.

    NO
