Installation Procedure

    Rear Window (1) - Install - Adhesive Installation of Rear Windows 

  2. Connect the rear window grid electrical connectors.

    Rear End Spoiler (1) - Install

    If NEW threaded components are being installed, loosen the adhesive using a metal pick or similar tool before proceeding. If threaded components are reused, prepare the threaded components using the following steps:

    1. Remove any loose cured adhesive from the external threads of the components using a lint free cloth.
    2. Thread the cleaned components into the internal mating threads and remove to loosen trapped cured adhesive.
    3. Remove loose debris from internal and external threads using compressed air.
    4. Apply liquid thread locking adhesive in a strip along half of the length of the external threads, starting at the tip, just prior to installation. Adhesives, Fluids, Lubricants, and Sealers
    5. CAUTION:

    Fastener Caution

  5. Rear End Spoiler Bolt (3) - Install and tighten [6x] - Fastener Specifications
  6. Rear End Spoiler Nut (2) - Install and tighten [6x] - Fastener Specifications
  7. Connect the electrical connectors.
  8. Rear Window Washer Nozzle Hose (1) - Connect

    Liftgate Upper Side Trim Finish Panel- Left Side and Right Side (1) - Install [2x]

    Liftgate Upper Center Trim Finish Panel (1) - Install

    Rear Window Wiper Motor Grommet - Install

  12. Rear Window Wiper Motor (2) - Install
  13. Connect the electrical connector.
  14. Rear Window Wiper Motor Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications
  15. Clean the pivot shaft knurls with a soft wire brush before installing the rear window wiper arm.

    Rear Window Wiper Arm (3) - Install

  17. Rear Window Wiper Arm Nut (2) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
  18. Rear Window Wiper Cap (1) - Install
  19. Cycle the wiper arm with a spray of solvent, PARK the wiper arm and re-check the alignment of the wiper arm on the park ramp.

    Liftgate Lower Trim Finish Panel (1) - Install

    Connect the electrical connectors.

    Liftgate Lower Trim Finish Panel Bolt (2) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications

  23. Liftgate Inside Pull Handle Cover (1) - Install
  24. Battery Negative Cable - Connect - Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
  25. Liftgate - Close
