Installation Procedure

  1. Install fuse block and tabs (1) to the battery.

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  2. Install Fuse Block Wiring Harness Terminals (Qty: 5)
  3. Install and tighten Body Wiring Harness Terminal Nuts (1) (Qty: 4) to 9 N.m (80 lb in)
  4. Install and tighten Starter and Generator Positive Cable Nut (2) to 12 N.m (106 lb in)

  5. Connect the body wiring harness connector. (1)

  6. Install Battery Positive Cable
  7. Install and tighten Battery Positive Cable and Nut (2) to 9 N.m (80 lb in)
  8. Install the small wire.
  9. Install and tighten Positive Battery Cable Nut (1) to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  10. Install Starter Solenoid Cable (2)
  11. Install and tighten Starter Solenoid Cable Nut (1) to 12 N.m (106 lb in).

  12. Install Fuse Block Cover (1)
  13. Connect Battery Negative Cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (KL9)
