Powertrain Drivetrain Mount Neutralizing

Powertrain/Drivetrain Mount Neutralizing 

Adjustment 

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview
    1. Remove the bolts and the front deflector.

  2. Remove the bolts and front undershield.

  3. Loosen, but do not remove the roll RH restrictor fasteners. Verify that the roll restrictor is loose.

  4. Loosen, but do not remove the roll LH restrictor fasteners. Verify that the roll restrictor is loose.

  5. Remove the fasteners and rear undershield.

  6. Loosen, but do not remove the rear electric drive assembly fasteners.

  8. NOTE: Do not twist or strain the powertrain/drivetrain mounts or damage to the mounts may occur.

    Rest the vehicle on the ground. Rock the vehicle on the parking pawl to neutralize the mounts.

  9. Inspect the roll restrictor for preloading or binding around the clevis. The roll restrictor should be straight.

  10. Tighten the roll restrictor fasteners.

    Torque:Front electric drive assembly bolt : 92 lb.ft (125 Nm)Frame bolt : 129 lb.ft (175 Nm)

  11. Tighten the roll restrictor fasteners.

    Torque:Front electric drive assembly bolt : 92 lb.ft (125 Nm)Frame bolt : 129 lb.ft (175 Nm)

  12. Install the front undershield.

    Torque: 30 lb.ft (40 Nm)

    1. Install the front deflector.

      Torque: 22 lb.in (2.5 Nm)

  13. Inspect the rear electric drive assembly fasteners for bolt interference and verify the mounts are not twisted or preloaded.

  15. Tighten the rear electric drive assembly fasteners.

    Torque: 129 lb.ft (175 Nm)

  16. Tighten the rear electric drive assembly fasteners.

    Torque: 221 lb.ft (300 Nm)

  17. Install the rear undershield.

    Torque: 35 lb.ft (48 Nm)
