Autolock Programming: Programming

NOTE: Autolock Programming
  1. WARNING: Before beginning any service procedure in this information, refer to HEALTH AND SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.

    NOTE: Make sure the ignition is OFF and the doors are closed and unlocked.
    NOTE: When programming the autolock feature, carry out the steps within 30 seconds or the procedure needs to be repeated. If the procedure needs to be repeated, wait 30 seconds between programming sessions.
  2. Turn the ignition from OFF to ON.
  3. Press the door lock control switch 3 times.
  4. Turn the ignition from ON to OFF.
  5. Press the door lock control switch 3 times.
  6. NOTE: The horn chirps as acknowledgment that programming mode has been entered.

    Turn the ignition ON. The module is now in programming mode.

  7. To enable/disable the autolock feature, press the door lock control switch 2 times within 3 seconds. The horn chirps once if autolock is disabled or twice (one short chirp followed by a honk) if autolock is enabled.
  8. Turn the ignition OFF to exit programming. The horn chirps once to signal the programming is complete.


NOTE: Auto-Unlock Programming

    NOTE: Make sure the ignition is OFF and the doors are closed and unlocked.
    NOTE: When programming the autolock feature, carry out the steps within 30 seconds or the procedure needs to be repeated. If the procedure needs to be repeated, wait 30 seconds between programming sessions.
  2. Turn the ignition from OFF to ON.
  3. Press the door lock control switch 3 times.
  4. Turn the ignition from ON to OFF.
  5. Press the door lock control switch 3 times.
  6. NOTE: The horn chirps as acknowledgment that programming mode has been entered.

    Turn the ignition ON. The module is now in programming mode.

  7. To enable/disable the auto-unlock feature, press the door lock control switch 3 times within 3 seconds. The horn chirps once if auto-unlock is disabled or twice (one short chirp followed by a honk) if auto-unlock is enabled.
  8. Turn the ignition OFF to exit programming. The horn chirps once to signal the programming is complete.
