Mirror-Inside Rear View, Bracket: Removal

    NOTE: The inside rear view mirror mounting bracket is bonded to the windshield glass and should not be intentionally removed.
  1. If the inside rear view mirror bracket must be removed, heat the bracket with a heat gun.
  2. While heating the inside rear view mirror bracket, grasp the bracket with pliers and apply side to side pressure to release the bond.
