Test E: Seat Does Not Move Horizontally/Vertically
- Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Operate seat forward and rearward, using seat control switch. If seat moves forward and rearward smoothly and completely, go to next step. If seat does not move forward and rearward smoothly and completely, go to step 5 .
- Operate seat tilting movement at seat control switch. If front motor does not operate, go to step 4 . If rear motor does not operate, go to next step. If recline motor does not operate (if equipped), go to step 6 . If all motors are inoperative, perform TEST A: POWER SEAT INOPERATIVE .
- Disconnect front seat track assembly harness connector C1852D. Measure voltage between Yellow/Violet and White/Violet wires at front seat track assembly harness connector C1852D. Operate rear height motor at seat control switch. If battery voltage exists when switch is operated, replace seat track assembly. If battery voltage does not exist, check wiring between seat control switch and front seat track assembly harness connectors. If wiring is damaged, repair as necessary. If wiring is okay, replace seat control switch.
- Disconnect front seat track assembly harness connector C1852D. Measure voltage between Yellow/Black and White/Black wires at front seat track assembly harness connector C1852D.
