Test H: Wipers Work With Key Out

Remove upper and lower steering column covers. Disconnect ignition switch connector. If wipers continue to operate, repair short to battery voltage in Black/Light Green wire between ignition switch and feed side of fuse No. 16 (30-amp) located in instrument panel fuse panel under left side of dash. See WIRING DIAGRAM . If wipers does not continue to operate check ignition switch and replace if necessary. See STEERING COLUMN SWITCHES article. After repair, retest system.
