Power Seat Switch

Using ohmmeter, check for continuity between indicated switch connector terminals when switch is activated as specified. See the POWER SEAT SWITCH CONTINUITY  table. See Fig 1 . Replace switch if it does not test as specified.

Switch Position Continuity Between Terminals No.
Neutral (1) 1, 2, 4, 5, 7 & 8
"A" 3 & 6; 1, 2, 4, 5, 7 & 8
"B" 1 & 6; 2, 3, 4, 5, 7 & 8
"C" (Up) 3, 5 & 6; 1, 2, 4, 7 & 8
"C" (Down) 1, 2 & 6; 3, 4, 5, 7 & 8
"C" (Right) 6 & 7; 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 & 8
"C" (Left) 4 & 6; 1, 2, 3, 5, 7 & 8
"D" 1 & 2; 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 & 8
"E" 2 & 6; 1, 3, 4, 5, 7 & 8
(1) In Neutral position, terminal No. 6 is disconnected.
