Test D: Door Locks Operate One Way Only
- Turn key OFF. Locate and disconnect the power door lock relay connector. Apply 12 volts to the Green wire and ground to the Red wire at the power door lock relay connector. Apply 12 volts to the Red wire and ground to the Green wire at the power door lock relay connector. Do the doors lock, then unlock? If yes, replace the power door lock relay. If no, goto next step.
- Turn key OFF. Remove the power door lock actuators. Perform the Door Lock Actuator component test in this section. See POWER DOOR LOCK . Are the power door lock actuators OK? If yes, service the Red and/or Green wire between the power door lock relay and the power door lock actuators. If no, replace the front door latch.
