Symptom Checks

Check the following items:

• Check PCV system. See CIRCUIT TEST HG in appropriate TESTS W/CODES - EEC-V article below.
• Check engine mechanical condition. Check valves, valve guides, valve stem oil seals, intake manifold gaskets, cylinder head oil drain passages and piston rings.
• TESTS W/CODES - EEC-V (3.0L)
• TESTS W/CODES - EEC-V (3.8L)
