EVO System Testing (Without Air Suspension)
- Use SUPER STAR II Scan Tester (007-0041A) to activate system diagnostics. EVO diagnostic connector is located on right side of luggage compartment. To enter diagnostics, turn ignition off.
- Connect SUPER STAR II Scan Tester to diagnostic connector with button released. Start engine. Depress and latch activation button on SUPER STAR II Tester.
- Code 20 will appear indicating system has entered self-diagnostics. After system has entered self-diagnostics, scan tester should continuously cycle through a selection of 5 tests.
- To select a test, command scan tester to "enter" by unlatching HOLD/TEST button for at least one second and relatching button within 8 seconds. This procedure will be used in all test procedure whenever an "enter" command is required.
- Code 21 will appear indicating system has asked if scan tester operator would like to output fault codes. To command system to output fault codes, unlatch HOLD/TEST button for at least one second and relatching button within 8 seconds. After all fault codes are output, Code 22 will appear indicating end of fault code output.
