Pinpoint Test A - Actuator Circuit Open

  1. DTC 27; Check Connections

Turn ignition off. Verify EVO harness connectors (in trunk) are firmly seated. If connectors are not firmly seated, make proper connections and go to next step. If connections are seated properly, go to next step.
  2. Check High Side Circuit Continuity

Turn ignition off. Disconnect EVO control module 14-pin connector. Disconnect EVO actuator harness connector. Measure resistance between pin No. 13 (Yellow/Green wire) of control module connector and Gray/Orange wire terminal at EVO actuator connector. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is 5 ohms or more, repair open in circuit and go to next step.
  3. Check Low Side Circuit Continuity

Leave ignition off. Measure resistance between pin No. 14 (Light Blue wire) of control module connector and Tan/Yellow wire terminal at EVO actuator connector. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace EVO actuator. If resistance is 5 ohms or more, repair open circuit.
