System Operation

Set headlight (autolamp) switch to minimum delay. Cover light sensor (located on dash) to simulate darkness. Turn ignition switch to RUN position, headlights should turn on within 20 seconds. Turn ignition off. Headlights should turn off in approximately 20 seconds. Repeat test with autolamp switch set to maximum delay. Headlights should turn off in approximately 3 minutes. If system operates as described, autolamp system is okay. If system does not operate as described, go to TROUBLE SHOOTING.
