COAST Circuit

On Escort and Tracer, measure voltage between circuit No. 356 (Red/Yellow wire) and ground. On all other models, measure voltage between circuit No. 151 (Light Blue/Black wire) and ground. Press and hold cruise control COAST button. Voltmeter should indicate approximately 1.5 volts. Rotate steering wheel back and forth while watching for fluctuations. If voltage varies more than 0.5 volt, perform CONTROL SWITCHES test.
