Fuel Pump
The Aerostar, Bronco II and Ranger 2.9L and 3.0L have a single high pressure pump, located in the fuel tank. The fuel pump relay is located on the left front inner fender panel.
NOTE:
When checking electric fuel pumps, ensure inertia switch has been reset and that there is adequate fuel supply. On the Bronco II and Ranger, the inertia switch is located inside the cab, on the firewall, beneath the heater, forward of the right front door. It is located right front kick panel on the Aerostar.
