Low Speed

  1. With wiper switch in "LOW" position, current flows from the ignition switch through wiper switch to wiper motor low terminal. To check low speed operation, turn ignition switch on and place switch in "LOW" position.
  2. Check for voltage at circuit No. 58 terminal (3-way motor connector). If no voltage is present, check voltage at circuit No. 63. If voltage is present at circuit No. 63 but not present at circuit No. 58, replace wiper switch. If voltage is not present at circuit No. 63, trace circuit back to source to determine problem. If voltage is present at circuit No. 58 and motor does not run, ground motor ground terminal to body. If motor runs, service ground wiring. If motor does not run, replace motor.
