Throttle Position Sensor (TPS)

This nonadjustable sensor is mounted to throttle shaft on side of throttle body opposite to ISC motor. Sensor will provide voltage outputs proportional to changes in throttle plate position. Sensor is used by ECA to determine throttle position based on proportional voltage output. ECA uses this information for selection of proper fuel mixture, spark and EGR at selected driving ranges.
