Test Preparation

The engine performance diagnostic procedure tests those items which are high frequency, easy-to-diagnose problems, and progresses to the low frequency, hard-to-diagnose problems. Proper use of this procedure will provide rapid as well as accurate diagnosis.

Connect Pressure Test Kit (Rotunda 019-00002) with Pressure Test Kit Adapter Set (Rotunda 019-00028) to components shown. See Fig 1 . Unless otherwise specified, all tests are to be performed with transmission in Neutral and parking brake set.
