Removal And Installation: Installation
- Lubricate the thread and the tip of the sensor with clean engine oil.
- Install the fuel pressure sensor (1) and tighten to the proper specification. Refer to FUEL DELIVERY, TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS .
- Connect and lock the fuel pressure sensor wire harness connector (1).
- Install the engine cover. Refer to COVER, ENGINE, INSTALLATION .
- Connect the negative battery cable. If equipped with an Intelligent Battery Sensor (IBS), connect the IBS connector.
- Check the high pressure fuel system for leaks. Refer to HIGH PRESSURE FUEL SYSTEM LEAK TEST .
