Tube, Fuel Tank Filler: Installation

If removed, install the rubber fuel fill hose (1) to the fuel tank with a new clamp (3).

Install the fuel vapor hose retainer (2) to the rubber fuel fill hose (1).

Position the fuel tank filler tube (3) into the fuel door opening and install the tube into the rubber fuel fill hose. Tighten the clamp (2) to the proper torque specifications. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
Install the lower fuel tank filler tube mounting bolt (1) and tighten to the proper torque specifications. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
Engage the fuel vapor hose retainer (4) to the fuel tank filler tube.

Install the upper fuel tank filler tube mounting bolt (1) and tighten to the proper torque specifications. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .

Install the fuel filler cover (1) to the body and tighten the screw (2) to the proper torque specifications. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .

Engage the fuel vapor hose and filter retainers (2) to the fuel tank filler tube.
Connect the fuel vapor hose quick connect fitting (1) to the fuel tank filler tube. Refer to FITTING, QUICK CONNECT, STANDARD PROCEDURE .
Install the right rear wheel splash shield. Refer to SHIELD, SPLASH, REAR WHEELHOUSE, INSTALLATION .
Install the right rear wheel. Refer to INSTALLATION .
Remove the support and lower the vehicle.
