Blower Motor Relay Test

  1. Disconnect blower motor relay from its connector. Using ohmmeter, ensure continuity exists between terminals No. 1 and 3. See Fig 1. Apply battery voltage to terminal No. 3, and ground terminal No . 1. Ensure continuity exists between terminals No. 2 and 5.
  2. With battery voltage removed, continuity should not exist between terminals No. 2 and 5. If continuity is not as indicated, replace relay.
