DTC Test No. 28 - Transaxle Fluid Temp. Sensor
NOTE:
Possible causes for DTC are: defective transaxle fluid temp. sensor, loose connector, open or shorted transaxle fluid temp. sensor wiring circuit or defective ECM.
When transaxle fluid temperature sensor failure exists, Transmission Control Module (TCM) delivers a malfunction signal to the Engine Control Module (ECM). Check TCM and transaxle control system. See the appropriate TRANSAXLE article for transaxle diagnosis.
